GIZ is looking for an Advisor for Strengthening Domestic Revenue Mobilization in the Good Financial Governance Programme (GFG) in Tanzania.
Duty station: Based in Dodoma/ regular travels to Dar es Salaam
Terms of the Contract: Fixed term contract.
Required qualifications, competences and experience
A University Degree in a relevant discipline such as public administration, law, economics, finance, or business administration.
Ten (10) years of relevant experience in a local/regional administration/ fiscal administration; preferably at the PO-RALG (or formerly PMO-RALG), out of which at least three (3) years as a senior manager or senior professional.
In-depth knowledge of the administrative structures and procedures on local and regional level.
Profound knowledge of fiscal and or legislation reform processes and the challenges/dynamics of reform processes with multiple stakeholders.
Previous experiences include the direct consultancy for local/regional administration.
Skills and experience in drafting strategies for executing reform plans.
Experience and knowledge in creating, maintaining and interpreting policies, standards and procedures, and understanding their impact across organizations.
Excellent skills in verbal and written communications I fluent English and Swahili.
Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access and Project.
