The HIV Testing and Counselling Provider IS responsible for the implementation of the HIV test campaigns and for the establishment jnd woll functioning of a linkaoe network botwocn the campaigns and the HUBs and other facilities in the oren The HIV testing and counselling provider will also support the project management in data collection.
S/he is responsible, together with the management of the project, of the image and reputation of the NfiO locally

The Test and Treat Project in Shmyanga and Simiyu Regions
MAIN TASKS
Ensuring that patients will receive appropriate care and counselling during tte tost campaigns
Educating patients about all aspects of HIV disease and treatment management, as well as basic healthy lifestyles
Counselling patients Oh HIV diagnosis, management of medications, medication and clinic follow up adherence, psychosocial issues, and basic health self- care.
Counselling and educating family members and care givers to promote secondary prevention of HIV infection, to improve the care of patients with HIV. and to strengthen social support networks of patients
TO link the HIV+ patients with the other available facilities providing HIV care and follow them during the beginning of the treatment
Filling In the reporting registers and other request documentation
Supporting the Test Coordinator and Community Coordinator in monthly data collection and report writing
Supporting the Test Coordinator and Community
Coordinator in the test campaigns organization, planning and implementation
Support the other staff (CUAMM Staff. HUBS Staff. Community Health Workers etc.) during the test campaigns and other project activities
Performing any other duty as assigned by the supervisor

QUALIFICATIONS A EXPERIENCE
HIV Testing and counselling Provider should have a diploma in Nursing with valid practice license and CITC or VCT training certificate;
A minimum of 3 vears’ working experience;
Ability to communicate in a multi-cultural, multi-ethnic environment with sensitivity and respect for diversity, empatmc and non-judgmentai attitude
■ Previous experience with International and local NCOS preferred;
Fluency in Kiswnhili. both written and spoken, is required
Fluency in English and Kisukuma languages will be a plus
