In the area of the educations Sweden will contribute in ensuring that the more girls are acquire basic knowledge skills in school and then the quality of primary and secondary educations is improved Sweden will contribute to strengthening incisive for girls participations in educations and creating opportunities for pupils with disabilities to go to school. Sweden is also the grant agent for GPE IN Zanzibar and Tanzania Mainland. This position will primarily focus on the Programme for the Zanzibar but works as an integrated expert in the educations group
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Management of agreement on development cooperation’s with the government and other partners in the area of educations focusing on the GPE grant including
i. Assessment of potential programmer or projects
ii. Follow-up of an agreement with partnership including dialogue negotiations
iii. Finalizing and evaluating programme and projects
iv. Contribute to the planning, follow up and reporting of the Embassy
QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in public financial management or programme in education or related field
• Excellent command of written and spoken English and Kiswahili
• At least 5 years working of professional experience
• Strong ability to write concise and Cleary structure reports articles
• Knowledge of the Tanzania public financial management systems
• Team player with ability to cooperate, listen and communicate with colleagues and external partners
• Ability to represent and pursue Swedish, policies and positions
