Government to provide 10,184 employment permits to replace the vacancies of civil servants found with Forged Academic certificates



President's Office, Public Service Management and Governance has announced to provide 10,184 employment permits to plug blanks and civil servants who were found with forged Academic certificates

According to a statement issued by the Head of the Government Communication Office, Personnel, Florence Temba, stated that the directive applicable to Local Government Authorities, Regional Secretariat, Government Agencies, as well as public institutions and organizations.

The Minister of State in the President's Office, Public Service Management and Governance, Angela Kairuki issued the directive while speaking at a meeting of public servants working with the District Kigamboni in Dar es Salaam yesterday.

"The distribution of employment permits has considered deficient emerged after the completion of the verification process, the current national priorities and the availability of staff from the labor market," said Kairuki.

She explained that the government has issued a permit to hire 15,000 new employees to fill the gap caused by the removal from the list of payment of salaries to civil servants who were found to forged certificates after verification process.

"Civil servants who are hired to replace them are expected to report for duty from August, 2017," explained Minister Kairuki, adding that the procedure for recruitment of government lies stagnant and urged citizens not to worry any of those jobs.

"I would like to emphasize that the permits were presented today is such that the sealed gap of forged certificates, allow citizens to realize that the issue of the new jobs where there is still a bright future as the government," said Kairuki.

In April this year, President John Magufuli received a report containing a list of civil servants of whom are alleged to have incomplete certificates, contain contradictions and forged happen to Kairuki Minister.

Those certificates were forged 9932, the President vowed that they would not return to work. President Magufuli ordered dismissal for all listed on the report and prevent their salaries for the month, but even so still the door was opened for the objection and any who refused to appeal while others went to the relevant authorities to find solutions to the issue.

Last week at Dodoma, Secretary, Office of the President, Management of Public Service and Good Governance, Dr. Laurean Ndumbaro announced that this week the government will issue permits 3000 employment in the health sector, including of doctors and nurses, and officials count 535 for the county health centers that should be solicitous for the collection of income on health centers and dispensaries.
