Higher Education Loans Board of Zanzibar Announces that all students need to study in various fields of Higher Education that the application forms for loans of higher education for the academic year 2017/18 will commence release of three months starting on 05.02.2017 up dated 07.31.2017.
Loans will be granted to applicants who meet the qualifications to join higher studies at the local level:
First Degree (Bachelor Degree)
Shahada ya Pili (Master Degree)
Shahada ya Tatu (PhD).
Targeted applications for loans are:
Form Six graduates qualified to join the First Degree studies.
Diploma graduates qualified to join the First Degree studies.
First Degree graduates qualified to join the lessons of the Second Degree.
Graduates of Second Degree qualified to join the Third Degree.
From the academic year 2017/18 Board of Higher Education Loans Zanzibar will not provide loans to applicants who are the servants of the Institute of the Revolutionary Government of Zanzibar (SMZ) and the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania (SMT). Emphasis has been placed for the young newly graduated and who have not found jobs.
Credit applicants should consider forms of government priorities, which are available on the website of the Board of Higher Education Loans Zanzibar ( www.zhelb.go.tz ) and the website of the Ministry of Education and Vocational Training Zanzibar ( www.moez.go. tz ).
Application forms might be charged 10,000 which will be paid directly to the applicant on account number 021108001357 of the Board of Higher Education Loans stationed in People's Bank of Zanzibar (PBZ ).
